Champion short description:

The text of the guide has been adapted to the new season (2024), but the graphics for the runes are not yet up to date.

We all know that one muscle-bound guy who seems scary and intimidating at first glance, but is actually the nicest and kindest person you know. This person is probably a Braum Main – or would be if he started with League. Braum’s personality mirrors his playstyle perfectly: he sacrifices himself for his teammates, placing himself protectively between his often weak ADC and the approaching danger, taking on the role of steadfast protector.

Braum is ideally used as a counterpick, as he works extremely well against melee supporters, but has great difficulties against lanes with a lot of range. These characteristics make him an extremely valuable champion in the champion pool of any support main.

Description Skill Order:

With Braum, you are very flexible when it comes to the distribution of your skill points. It is worth investing a lot of points in both E and Q. With every point in Q, the cooldown decreases and the damage increases considerably. Points invested in E also reduce the cooldown, increase the damage reduction and extend the duration of the shield. If you are unsure, I recommend the order described above: First 3 points into the Q for a strong early lane and then max through the E to get max tanky.

However, there are situations where you don’t need to block as much enemy damage. Or you dominate the lane and want to have more damage to keep up the pressure. In these cases, you can maximize Q first. On the other hand, if you want to be tanky early and there are a lot of blockable abilities in play, you can continue directly with E after 2 points into Q. However, it should be at least 2 points in the Q before you flexibly distribute the other points depending on the game situation. We always maximize the W after the E, as the base damage of the Q is less important later in the game than the additional resistances of the W. Points in the Q are primarily intended for the early game.

Items you can put on Braum buy

Description of the build path:

Braum is a classic tank support. This means that we need tank items that give life and resistances, but they also have to help our team somehow, because it’s no good if an Engage support simply survives for as long as possible as long as the team simply dies. Accordingly, we mainly want to access the tank support items whose effects help our teammates to survive longer.
