Champion short description:

Lissandra is a playmaking AP midlaner and is characterized above all by her countless roam and gank options. The icy CC rounds off her kit perfectly.

BUT: Alone she is only half as strong. She is a supportive midlaner and loses out to most midlaners due to her high cooldowns and short range. The rest are assassins and we’ll beat them!

What Lissandra offers is SETUP – be setup for your team! – Every carry loves Lissandra.

Description Skill Order:

You start at level 1 with your Ice Shard (Q)
This is your main spell in lane for hitting enemies and manipulating the wave to your liking. The Q is extended when you hit an opponent or minion – make sure you take advantage of this to compensate for Lissandra’s low range. Play around your manaflow band and you won’t have any mana problems with Lissandra in lane.
At level 2 you will 99% skill Ring of Frost (W). Unless you’re playing against cheese junglers like Nunu or Shaco (champs that like to gank lvl. 2), you’ll want to skill Glacial Path (E) for your own safety. The W is more of a defensive spell due to its CC, but it helps you to manipulate the wave according to your wishes in Early. Although it has a higher CD than the Q, it requires less mana. So there’s no shame in lasthitting a minion with W (but be careful not to ruin your wave state!)
The E is only used for farming in the LANE under the cruelest conditions. It has eternal CD and massive mana costs. It is mainly used as an Engage or Disengage tool, which is why we max it last.

Items you can put on Lissandra buy

Description of the build path:

When which starting item?

Liandrys: With healthy opponents and 3 tanks (Vlad, Kassa, Zac, etc)
Mali: If the opponents have a hypercarry or you roam a lot and play for catches

Hextech: If you want to burst

When which shoes:
Mercs: For opponents with a lot of CC or who also max outrangen (Syndra, Ori
Ionia: If you play on utility CD

Sorcerer: Everything else (Core)

Build Path Description:
Lissandra is an AP Playmaker. However, she can also play Bursten for Utility – depending on what your team wants. Therefore, we are mainly going for AP and Ability Haste. Since Lissandra has one of the slowest starting move speeds (325), boots are essential for you. At least the 1x boots to get through the lane. Then continue with one of the 3x starting items (Malignance, Liandyrs or Ludens) into Shadowflame OR your core item Zhonya’s. You can also just build Seeker’s and only upgrade Zhonya’s once you’ve used the effect or if you have an important fight coming up where every little advantage can be crucial. After that, go Rabadons into PEN or PEN into Rabadons, depending on your opponents’ choice of item. With the last item, you can then decide whether you want to go DMG or defense again.
PS: Dark Seal is a great comeback item and can be bought in any State of the Game – especially on Lissandra.
