Champion short description:

Nasus is a toplaner characterized by his unique play style. A relentless melee fighter, he is known for his ability to grow into an unstoppable colossus over the course of the game.

Nasus’ playstyle mainly revolves around his ability to effectively use Sucking Strike. This ability allows him to collect extra damage with his Q attack every time he lands a load hit. The more enemies he takes out with this ability, the stronger his Q becomes, making Nasus a true damage monster over the course of the game. The trick is to give Nasus enough resources and time to charge up his Q ability in the first few minutes of the game, as it is his main tool for combat.

Nasus’ play style therefore requires a certain amount of patience and skill. Players need to find the balance between farming minions to boost their Q ability and participating in team fights. When Nasus has accumulated enough attack damage, he can literally plow through enemies and destroy towers in an instant.

Another important ability of Nasus is his W ability “Wither”, which slows down enemies and drastically reduces their attack speed. This allows him to play against ranged characters both during the laning phase and later in the game.

Overall, playing Nasus requires good game awareness and smart resource management. If played correctly, he can become a nightmare for the opposing team and decide the game on his own.

Description Skill Order:

On Nasus there are a few possible combinations of how you can skill him. The normal case is that you maximize the Q skill, then the W and finally the E. Since the Q is still very weak in the early game, there are many Nasus players who put one or two extra points into the E in order to survive the early game and get to Farm. Since you don’t really need the W in the early game and it costs far too much mana, you should only skill it at level 4 or level 5. From level 6, however, you should put every skill point into Q until it has been maximized.

At level 1, you can also choose between E and Q and this is completely dependent on the matchup. Against ranged characters, which tend to be less tanky, you can use E to both get lasthits and significantly poke your opponent. This poke doesn’t really help against tanks or bruisers, so you should go to level 1 for the Q.

Description of the build path:

Nasus’ items are quite unique. With Nasus, you generally always rush a damage item and then only go for tank items. With the help of his Q, he already generates so much damage that he only has to survive in teamfights. The damage item is usually an item with a sheen effect (e.g. Trinity Force) because it synergizes excellently with Nasus’ Q. After that, you really only want to build tank items with Nasus. This mainly includes tank items that can boost Nasus’ natural healing.
