Champion short description:
There is hardly a champion in the mid lane that is stronger in the laning phase than Corki. His autoattacks hurt extremely, his base damage is high, and when he gets rolling, he scales pretty well into the lategame. However, that’s the crux of the matter: he HAS to get rolling to take control of the game. If we fall behind with Corki, we’re very useless very quickly because we have nothing but raw damage in our kit. Corki seems like a simple champion at first glance, but he’s still a champion that primarily succeeds in competitive League of Legends when played by the best players in the world, while his winrate in soloq is usually very low. In this guide, I’ll try to explain why this is the case and how we can take advantage of Corki’s strengths.

Mostly best
Description Skill Order:
Corki basically has two options when it comes to which ability he maximizes first: Q or E? His E has the greatest damage potential, but has to hit for the entire duration, which is not always realistic. His Q doesn’t deal quite as much damage as his E, but it’s a much more reliable ability. You can’t avoid a well-placed Q without speedups or dashes, and it also fits much better with the way we trade in the midlane. That’s why we always maximize the Q first.
Even though we recommend starting with the Q, there are matchups where it’s better to start with the E. But I’ll go into that in the laning. I’ll go into this in more detail in the laning phase. However, if you are unsure, you can always use the recommended skill order.

Items you can put on Corki Midlane Guide buy
Description of the build path:
Corki benefits greatly from Sheen effects (Trinity Force) due to his passives. He also has a high mana cost, so we need to resolve that as well. In principle, we want to go for a scaling item build, as our early-game strength does not depend on items and we want to guarantee a solid scaling into the later game. That’s why armor penetration and crit are also very important later on. Corki is one of those champions where you find an optimal build that serves all your needs and then always play exactly that build.
We always go to Corki for defensive shoes. So pay attention to what damage types the opponent has and adapt accordingly. It is also sufficient to buy the armor or magic resistance sub-item first and upgrade the shoes later.
