Champion short description:
Driven by revenge, the barbarian king Tryndamere once fought his way through the vastness of Freljord and challenged the greatest warriors of the north. His inhuman strength and bravery are legendary and keep him fighting even when he is close to death. In the Summoner’s Rift, this is particularly evident in his ultimate ability, which allows him to become immortal for 5 seconds and thus turn around battles that were thought to be lost.
Tryndamere is one of the best duelists in the game and it can be very exhausting and frustrating to have to play against him. He is also one of the best split pushers in the game, can take down towers extremely quickly and can often take out or escape opponents even in outnumbered situations. He can also deal considerable damage in teamfights and stay alive longer than you would expect thanks to his ult. Tryndamere’s weaknesses are that he can be kited and is susceptible to CC lockdown. Especially without the summoner spell Spirit and against champions who can interrupt his E, Tryndamere has a hard time staying on his desired target. Like all melee fighters, he also has to put himself in danger and must therefore be kept in check with stuns and binds.
Tryndamere is particularly strong in the early and lategame, while he has a small period of weakness in the midgame. It is therefore important to know his power spikes and exploit them accordingly. He has strong matchups against many bruisers and other split pushers such as Renekton, Olaf or Yorick. He has a hard time against champions that counter his splitpush or are too tanky for him to finish them off quickly, such as Singed, Malphite or Tahm Kench. All in all, Tryndamere is one of the easiest carry top laners to learn and is a good choice for any player who wants to quickly add a splitpusher to the champion pool.

Description Skill Order:
Tryndamere’s passive is “Battle Rage”, which fills up his Rage bar with every autoattack, critical hit and load hit. This fury passively increases his chance of critical hits and can also be consumed with his Q. Normal autoattacks give him 5 fury, crits and lasthits 10 fury each. As soon as Tryndamere is out of combat for 8 seconds, he loses 5 Fury per second. For every point in his Fury bar, Tryndamere gains 0.4% critical hit chance (i.e. up to 40% with a fully charged Fury bar). This ability means that Tryndamere scales very well with crit items, as he lands critical hits more often than other champions with the same items.
At level 1, you start with Tryndamere’s E “Whirling Blade”, where he whirls towards a target unit, dealing physical damage to all enemies hit and generating 4 Fury per enemy hit. The cooldown of this ability is reduced by 0.75 seconds each time Tryndamere lands a critical hit and doubled if he hits a champion with this crit. This additional crit scaling of the cooldown makes Tryndamere very mobile as long as he can attack enemies. You maximize this ability second, as both the damage increases and the cooldown is reduced by additional ability points.
At level 2 you take your Q “Bloodthirst” for the first time and put another point into it at level 3 in order to be as strong as possible in early trades. The Q passively causes Tryndamere’s attack damage to increase depending on how badly he is injured. The lower your health points fall, the more dangerous you are to your opponents. When you activate Q, Tryndamere consumes the Fury he has built up and heals himself depending on the amount of Fury he has. You can use this ability to bait opponents into fights they can’t win, as long as you have a good idea of Tryndamere’s limits. You maximize the Q first, as both the additional attack damage and the healing increase significantly.
Only at level 4 do you put your first point into the W “Mocking Call”. Tryndamere shouts an insult that reduces the attack damage of nearby enemy champions for 4 seconds. Enemies who turn their backs on Tryndamere are also slowed for the same duration. This ability therefore allows you to weaken enemies and pursue them better if they do not want to fight with you (anymore). You maximize it last.
As usual, you level your ultimate ability “Unbridled Rage” to level 6, 11 and 16. When activated, Tryndamere’s battle lust becomes so fierce that he can no longer die for 5 seconds, no matter how badly he is wounded. He also instantly gains a significant amount of Fury, and he can use this ult even while stuck in CC.
Your usual plan as Tryndamere is to dash at your opponent with the E, weaken and slow them with the W, pummel them with your autoattacks and chase them with more Es. You activate your Ult as soon as you are in danger yourself. Ideally, you should use Q just before your ult runs out so that you have more life available and can escape with another E.

Items you can put on Tryndamere buy
Description of the build path:
Tryndamere is one of the few top laners with crit scaling. This means that you should almost buy ADC items with attack speed and crit on Tryndamere. Thanks to his ultimate, he always has the ability to withstand a lot in a teamfight and therefore hardly ever needs defensive stats.
