Champion short description:

Ashe, the Frost Archer, is the archer with the second highest range from level 1. Coupled with her long range, her Frost Shot passive provides Ashe with a slow on her target with every normal attack. More specifically, Ashe’s abilities and normal attacks apply “Frost” to enemies, slowing them by 20-30% for 2 seconds (depending on level). Frost also ensures that each subsequent attack deals additional physical damage. With each attack and each ability, you extend the period during which your target is slowed.

Ashe should be aware that your critical hits do not deal any additional damage. Instead, they double the strength of the slowdown. However, this effect reverts to the original slowing value after one second.

Q – Ranger’s Focus grants additional attack speed when activated and turns Ashe’s normal attacks into a hail of 5 mini-arrows. The total damage of these mini arrows per attack is higher than Ashe’s normal attacks and increases as she levels up in the ability. Ranger’s Focus has no cooldown, but cannot be activated constantly. Whenever the ability is inactive, Ashe’s normal attacks generate an increase of “Focus” for 4 seconds, up to a maximum of 4 increases. After 4 seconds without renewing these boosts, Ashe loses one per second. Whenever you have 4 buffs ready, you can use the ability.

Note that the active of “Ranger’s Focus” resets the cooldown of Ashe’s normal attack. This means you can activate Q immediately after performing a normal attack to attack again. Caution! If you activate the ability in the middle of your attack animation, it will be canceled and replaced by a hail of arrows. Here you can achieve high damage peaks as well as tripping yourself up. You should practise this first if you want to try out Ashe. Practice mode is a good place to do this.

Volley is Ashe’s W ability, with which she fires several arrows in a cone shape in the chosen direction. Enemies hit take normal damage and enemy champions are also critically slowed. A target can be hit by several arrows, but only takes damage once from the volley.

With E – Hawk Shot, Ashe sends out her hawk, which reveals everything in its path for 2 seconds, as well as the target area for 5 seconds. Ashe periodically generates charges of Hawk Shot up to a maximum of 2 boosts. If you have accumulated both boosts, the ability has a cooldown of 5 seconds between the two E’s.

The recharge time is 90 seconds until you level the ability for the second time at level 14.

Ashe’s most famous ability is her ultimate “Enchanted Crystal Arrow”. Ashe fires an ice arrow in the chosen direction. If the arrow hits an enemy champion, it deals magic damage and stuns them for 1-3.5 seconds (depending on the flight distance). In addition, nearby enemy units take half damage and are slowed down.

For you as an Ashe player, it is very relevant to know that the hitbox is not the tip of the arrow, but a point at the beginning of the 3rd third of the animated arrow.

Description Skill Order:

Ashe’s skill order is W->Q->E. Skills should be prioritized whenever possible.

You skill your ultimate to level 6|11|16 whenever possible.

Almost every game should be started with W – Volley. You want to start the lane directly with a volley on, if possible, the enemy carry and as many minions as possible. This way, the ability will be ready a second time before the melee minions of the second minion wave die. You can use the ability here to generate priority in the lane in combination with your normal attacks. This means that you can reach level 2 first and dominate your lane. However, do not skill your W immediately at the start of the game as Ashe can easily be stronger than the opponent’s bot lane at level 1, coupled with the right support. For example, with a hit Braum Q or with Milio starting with W, you can chase down your opponents with a Q start, Spirit and the rune “Attraction”, which you take with you every game as Ashe. In this case, however, you will definitely want to skill your W to level 2. At the regular W start, if you don’t know where the enemy jungler started their clear, you can send your hawk at different angles with level 2 to get this information and share it with your team.

If you already have information or want to play a clear all-in, it is also possible to skill your Q to level 2 after W at level 1. In this case, take the point in the E at level 4 at the latest.

Description of the build path:

Ashe is a classic ADC. This means that we mainly need these stats: AD, Attack Speed and Crit. Later on, however, armor penetration and lifesteal will also become very important, so you need at least 4 items to fully develop your potential.
