Champion short description:
Karthus the Deathsinger is known for his ultimate ability “Requiem”, which deals global damage on the map.
Karthus’ passive ability “Defy Death” allows him to carry on and deal damage for a short time after his death. Karthus is a strong addition to many team compositions due to his focus on ranged damage and global presence.
Q – Devastate is the ability you play your trades with and also actively use to farm. After a 0.5 second delay, Karthus creates an explosion on the ground that deals magic damage to enemy/neutral units hit. If only a single target is hit, it suffers double damage. This also applies to champions. Karthus is therefore notorious for its outstanding level 1 all-in potential.
With W – Wall of Pain, Karthus creates a passable wall that grants vision for 5 seconds. Any enemy unit that passes through the wall is slowed for 4 seconds, which is reduced by 50% over the first second and then drops for the remainder of the duration. The target also loses 15% of magic resistance during this duration.
Karthus is the optimal choice if your team deals a lot of AD, i.e. physical damage. It likes to be the only source of AP in the team. This is because the opponents then buy less Magic Resistance, which in turn leads to Karthus dealing a lot of damage. With all his AoE spells, he can also perfectly fill the role of the only AP champ in his team.
So if you want to deal the most damage of the entire game every turn, Karthus is the perfect choice.

Skill Order

Mostly best
Description Skill Order:
The skill order is as follows: Q is always leveled first because it is the skill Karthus wants to use to push the minions and can be very strong in an all-in situation even at level 1. This is exactly why it is maximized first. If an opponent is isolated, Karthus’ Q – Devastate deals double damage.
Karthus’ E is “Annihilation”. When Karthus kills a unit, he regains mana. Activating the ability deals 0.25 seconds of magic damage to active enemies. You can switch the ability on and off whenever you want. Deactivating the ability also deals a tick of damage. As Lane Karthus, you mainly want to use the passive of the ability, as you want to work a lot with your Q’s.
In addition, Karthus’ W – Wall of Pain costs 70 mana, which corresponds to 2-3 Q’s depending on your level. This is another reason why Karthus is particularly strong as soon as you complete “Lost Chapter” and have fewer mana problems.
At level 3, put another point into the Q to significantly increase your damage. All In’s with Supporters that offer crowd control effects are ideal for Karthus on the Botlane.
A possible variation is to put a second point into Karthus’ E at level 3, simply to increase passive mana regeneration when killing minions. This is advantageous if you have used up a lot of mana in the first 2 levels, but cannot or do not want to aim for a recall yet.
In this case, you can postpone skilling the W to level 5. As a rule, however, your skill order will be Q->E->Q->W.
Then maximize your skills as normal in the following order: Q > E > W. You skill the ultimate as usual at level 6, 11 and 16.

Items you can put on Karthus buy
Description of the build path:
Karthus is a so-called Dot Mage, i.e. a champion who can deal damage over time. This means we need AP items that also have the effect of dealing damage over time as soon as enemies receive damage. Of course, we also need ability speed and, later on, magic penetration to be able to kill champions with a little magic resistance.
