Champion short description:

The text of the guide has been adapted to the new season (2024), but the graphics for the runes are not yet up to date.

“Supporting fire” takes on a whole new meaning with Milio, because his fire is not there to harm the enemy, but primarily to support his own team with healing and shields. But that’s not all his fire can do – and neither can anyone else.

Description Skill Order:

In fact, it’s a bit of a lie to say that his fire doesn’t hurt anyone, because his passive “Fire and Flame!” helps with exactly that: letting your team throw a little ember at the enemy when you support a teammate with one of your abilities (or kick your fireball through them). While this also counts for you, so your normal attacks are not to be neglected, especially early in the game, that’s about it for Milio’s own damage, which of course isn’t a problem as his supporting abilities are not only plentiful but also versatile.

Let’s take his “warm embrace” (E), which is basically just a shield that increases your movement speed for a short time. This of course gives the additional damage of “Fire and Flame!” (P), but it also has the special feature of having two charges, so that you can either pack them directly one after the other on the same champion if a lot of damage is expected at once, or with a short distance between them if you also want to maintain the bonus movement speed for longer. This simplicity and versatility of this ability makes it the one you want to invest your points in early, and usually even want to start with.

His Living Campfire (W) is arguably the ability (besides his ult) that makes Milio special. You use it to summon a little fire friend that follows you or one of your teammates, heals everyone in the area and gives extra range for normal attacks. This may be powerful, but it also comes at a price: a high cooldown. So first and foremost, make sure that you don’t use this ability indiscriminately, but wait for the right moment when not only the healing, but above all the extra range can be utilized. Since this cooldown is so long, it is also a good idea to invest points in it early, so that you don’t get your “Warm Embrace” (E) to level 5 as early as possible, but only to level 3, and from then on get the “Living Campfire” (W) to level 5. The simple reason for this is that this ability is very suitable for team fights because it has an area effect, if not only you and your teammate on the lower line, but also one or two other team members can benefit from it.

Another ability that works very well with a single point is his aptly named “Ultra Mega Fire Kick” (Q)… or maybe not. Milio kicks off one of his fire friends, which, when it collides with an enemy (or enemy minion), throws it back and then lands on it in a small arc, slowing everything in a radius. You can imagine that the knockback synergizes quite well with the extra range of the normal attacks, and that’s exactly what the “Ultra Mega Fire Kick” is for: to keep enemies at a distance. If you are playing against a supporter champion who is particularly effective in close combat, it is therefore not a bad idea to invest the point at level 2 in this ability so that you can kick the opponent away from you or a teammate with an anime kick if necessary.

Last but not least, we must not forget his ultimate, “Breath of Life” (R), which is actually very simple. Milio jumps up and heals all team members in a large radius around him. The special thing here is that if they also suffer from stun, slow or other CC, these are removed at the same time. Note, however, that you can only use this ability if you yourself are not stunned or similar, as you cannot use it to free yourself from CC that prohibits you from using abilities.

Description of the build path:

Milio is a classic enchanter support. This means that our items should improve our healing and shield power, as well as buffing our teammates in some way. These items usually have AP, mana regeneration and ability speed.
